This is a great space saver. The DVD player works really well, this DVD player replaced a Toshiba that would not play most DVDs from Netflix if they were the least bit dirty or scratched. This Yamaha DVD player has played every DVD we have put in it flawlessly no skipping or freezing. The sound portion of it is great as well, we listen to the 5 channel stereo quite a bit while watching concerts and the Dolby surround for movies adds another demension to your home theater.
